Thomas B. Anderson has worked in the luxury sector of residential real estate for the past 25 years. For 23 years Tom served in various senior executive-level positions at Sotheby's International Realty, including Executive Vice President and Regional Head of the New York Tri-State and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. A broker in three states and the District of Columbia, Tom personally achieved many of the highest and most important sales on the East Coast.
While under the ownership of Sotheby's Auction House, Tom served on the real estate division's executive committee that formed the framework and subsequently established Sotheby's International Realty as a worldwide luxury real estate leader.
Upon the sale of the Sotheby's International Realty to the Cendant franchise organization in 2004, Tom elected to join his partners at Washington Fine Properties, where he was a founding partner in 1999. Tom now serves as President, fulfilling the firm's role in industry affiliations and board positions, as well as overseeing agent development and heading the firm's luxury property program, Fine Properties International.
